ABSTRACT
Depressed fractures are not frequent in newborns and these occur in uterus or during the birth process.
Treatment is usually surgical and the prognosis is
generally good with timely treatment. The case of a
female newborn with a depressed fracture of the left
temporopariental region is presented.
