There wasn’t operative mortality, all patients were integrally rehabilited before six weeks postoperative. There was a late death (9 months) for voluntary desertion of immunosuppressive drugs. Three patients are alive in NYHA class I at 7 years, 8 and 7 months post-trasplantation, respectively. Conclusions. Heart transplantation in age pediatric is feasible in our country and offer good results at medium and large term. Is necessary an intense education on transplantation and mental health’s constant support and social work to patients and family to reach the treatment expectatives and obtain integral rehabilitation.
