Hepatic resection in children. Ten years of experience

ABSTRACT

This is a retrospective study of the hospital experience about hepatic resections in pediatric patients during the last 10 years. Eleven clinical records of patients from 12 hours of life and 16 years old. Were review, in regard of the signs and symtoms that they presented and the results of the laboratory studies of them. The surgery technique, employed and the histologic varietys found, in which the hepatoblastoma was the most common, are described. There was not any deseased after surgery.
