Supervision as stress triggering in medical practice: Recommendations for its management

ABSTRACT

The stress effects on the medical professional training have been studied essentially in the last decades because of the consequences on the residents. An outstanding aspect is the power related with the supervision, because conditions related with the exercise of the power are identifies. On the other hand, should be clear up the different characteristics that there are between the syndrome of Burnout and the Mobbing, because allows to take actions of more specificity for their modification. In the experience of the authors the use of groups proposed by Balint, with the due modifications to our population, has offered a good alternative for the attendance to the groups of doctors, giving for result a better adaptation to their learning experience.
