ABSTRACT

Eosinophilia as biological sign of a parasitic disease takes place in the helmintosis and the miasis, although, in some protozoosis (v. g., amebosis, blastocistosis, dientamebosis, giardosis, isosporosis, toxoplasmosis) also it is possible to observe this phenomenon. On the matter, it is possible to make two questions: is constant the count of eosinophilus throughout the parasitization in a certain helmintosis? And, all the helmintosis induce similar counts of eosinóphilus. For both there is an answer, that is no. Which takes to us to analyze the evolution of eosinophilia in the course of the helmintosis and the factors that mediatizan the count of these cells, which is affected by the parasitic load, endogenous biological cycle of the parasite, its adaptation to the guest, intercurrentes antiquity of the process, reinfecciones and/or sobreinfections and infectious processes and their antihelmíntico treatment.
