ABSTRACT

Infection with the dimorphic fungus Histoplasma capsulatum ranges from a mild asymptomatic illness to a progressive and disseminated disease.
We report the case of a patient 51 year old male patient with fever, weigth loss, malaise, hepatomegaly and pancytopenia.
