ABSTRACT

One hundred and twenty patients with tibia shaft fracture were studied within the National Rehabilitation Center from March 1992 to June 1995, this program was both biopsychosocial and educational. It was applied before the surgery in all the cases. Ours result were: normal gait pattern, complete arcs of mobility for hip and for knee ( 94.6%) were completed and (5.4%) incomplete approximation 90°, ankle ( 80.8% ) were complete and (19.2) incomplete in dorsiflexion with range of 10-15° muscular force sensibility and reflex all were normal. Patients returned to their job at X= 34.33 days after the surgery, consolidation was rached after four months. Statistically; we found the hypothesis to be invalid with a significance of .01 to confide of 99% in two tails for the following variables. Full weight bearings, return to job correlated with the population under studio (t Student test).
