ABSTRACT

The amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, is historically an important illness inside the neurodegeneration diseases, by the different demonstrations that involve so much signs of lower and upper motor neuron. The present monograph intends to offer a view of the recent theories on its pathogenesis little understood; as well as the characteristic clinical picture and the present diagnostic criteria to arrive at its diagnose opportune, and the methods of laboratory-cabinet that can be of utility to confirm or to rule out the disease; at the same time to contribute a guideline for the medical management medico and rehabilitation, of is devastating illness.
