ABSTRACT
We compared reflexigram (RFXG) masseter with the level of emotional stress and the different mouth situations to see if there was correlation between them, and also whether any of these factors had greater influence on the morphology of RFXG. In studying the RFXG we were able to determine the area of missing inhibiting, the relationship between the area of empowerment over the area of inhibition, and compare the symmetry between the right and left side. We used to reflect inhibitory masseter muscle to determine any change.
The state mouth of the subjects was obtained through a format, the emotional strain was measured using three tests: the first (Scale “G”), and the second test (Internet), assessed the level of emotional stress corresponding majors values for the female gender; in the third test (Maslash), we evaluate three aspects: a) emotional exhaustion, b) depersonalization and c) reduced personal accomplishment, which were also higher for the female gender. We searched for possible correlations between the variables of the state mouth, the values of variables RFXG masseter, degree of emotional stress, using the nonparametric test Chi square, found only correlation between variables RFXG masseter and the degree of emotional stress.
