Partial nephrectomy, lumboscopic approach.

ABSTRACT

Laparoscopic surgery has evolved and refined its techniques, it has allowed the increase of the options of surgical approaches, besides it allows the resolution of many cases, by means of minimum invasion surgery; with the reduction of the days of recovery, less use of analgesics. Lumboscopic pathway is an excellent choice for handling the retroperitoneum. Many techniques have been developed like the digital dissection that allows the creation of a working space without the need of balloons, with lower cost and same efficacy. We report one of first experience in advanced laparoscopic surgery at our medical center. It is about a 22 years old female with a complete double system in the right, the upper part is hydronefrotic, and this was resolved by a partial nephrectomy by lumboscopic approach, with good results.
