ABSTRACT
A biomechanical-functional device called “Migueliña multifuncional” (MM), intended to be used for forearm, wrist and hand rehabilitation, which could be employed to perform reliable exercises in order to increase range of motion and strength of the upper limb, is described. MM was designed as an effective tool available for occupational therapists, with the purpose to manage a successful rehabilitation treatment, in the shortest period of time, in patients with different upper limb diseases, such as bone fractures, tendinous and nervous injuries and traumatisms.
