ABSTRACT

Abdominal hysterectomy remains as the most common cause of vesicovaginal fistula in developed countries. The conservative measures have a low probability of success. When the fistula is large or when it does not respond to these conservative measures, corrective surgery is indicated and can be repaired with a success rate of 75 to 97%. We present a case of a patient 37 years old with the antecedent of placenta previa y ureteral injury, she was operated of hysterectomy and right ureteral reimplant, after this the patient development a vesicovaginal fistula, which was repair by us successfully by the laparoscopic way.
