ABSTRACT

Verrucous haemangiomas are uncommon, localized vascular malformations, usually involve the lower extremities; present at birth, usually have stain-like appearance and proportionate growth, gradually acquire a warty surface. They fail to regress spontaneously. The treatment of choice is surgical, but it has been reported recurrence in 30% of the cases. We present a case in a 10 year old-patient, who received surgical treatment.
