ABSTRACT

Venous thrombosis is a pathology which include two important diseases, deep venous thrombosis and pulmonary thromboembolism, the morbidity and mortality of both disease is high. A clinical case of deep venous thrombosis is described and a brief review of the most relevant aspects of this disease is made.
