ABSTRACT

Intractable epilepsy has been a challenge for physicians. There are new antiepileptic drugs, which are used frequently with good results. In cases of refractory epilepsy to medications, the ketogenic diet, the vagus nerve stimulation or the epilepsy surgery can be used.
