ABSTRACT

The keratocyst occurs between the second and third decade of life. These benign cysts are among the most aggressive and the ones that present a higher relapse among the odontogenic cysts. A clinical case is presented of a keratocyst in right mandibular ramus; with previa biopsy incisional, its decide surgical enucleation of the injury is performed, placing in the cystic cavity Carnoy solution. An histopathologic study is performed, getting the diagnosis of parakeratinized keratocyst. The patient is kept in radiographic control after surgical treatment.
