ABSTRACT

Periapical surgery was developed as an alternative to conventional endodontic treatment in the face of the drawbacks of the latter.
In this article, we present a case of endodontic surgery in which a clinical microscope was used during the surgical procedure. The magnification of the intraoperative images helped overcome the complications that arose, and so improve the final prognosis of the treatment.
