ABSTRACT
Biosecurity measures are intended to decrease the risk of transmission of microorganisms from recognized or unrecognized sources of infection in dental clinics araising from accidents involving exposure to blood and body fluids. This paper proposes a guideline aimed primarily at promoting education on sharps safety amongst dental clinic staff and at preventing the transmission of pathogens during the use of such instruments. These recommendations are intended for healthcare professionals engaged in clinical dental practice.REFERENCES
