ABSTRACT

The disorders of the genital feminine device that appear during the childhood and the adolescence are slightly frequent. Because of it the importance of realizing a retrospective, analytical, descriptive study on the cases that surrendered to surgery, in a certain period of time (1995-2002), in the hospital America Arias. Everything with the aim to know the reasons, diagnosis methods and risk factors that motivated the above mentioned procedures, to be able like that to define future conducts and observe the behavior of the same ones to later.
