ABSTRACT

The folksonomies are studied as a new form for the indexing the information resources in the Web. The terms indexing, documentary languages, documentary analysis and folksonomies are briefly defined. The development of the documentary languages is shown from its first manifestations to the folksonomies, which are considered an added value of the social indexing. The folksonomies are described as a language expression, and the advantages and disadvantages of their use are explained.
