ABSTRACT

Why write an article about ethics in nursing care? It turns out that in my limited experience as a university professor, I found that it is absolutely necessary to speak in such a way that can reach my students and others who are not, but who are being trained in the discipline with a view that is fruitful for them. I observe further amend the undeniable need time thoughts, judgments and actions that students come to realize in their various fields of clinical practice, without performing a critical capability, especially of reasoned thought about ethics and its importance of both practical and legal implications it has on the nursing care. Perhaps my claim is ambitious but I think it’s worth trying to publicize the importance of thinking on ethics, even when we direct our care to our neighbors. Not try to leave my students with an image of antiethical, but quite the contrary it is recommended that young people are in a college preparatory, focusing many of its actions towards the welfare, safety and health who suffer, so that those responsible are more actions to achieve well-being of those who are subjects of their expertise.
