ABSTRACT

For an adequate management of trauma in pregnant patient is not enough just to know the management guides for trauma in adults, is also necessary to know the physiological changes in pregnancy that take an important role in the context of trauma. Trauma is considered the non obstetric cause most important figure of morbidity and mortality in pregnancy, and an adequate effort of resuscitation in the mother is the greatest chance for the fetus can survive. The main causes of trauma in pregnancy are the blunt trauma, especially in transit accident and violence so the efforts may be done for the opportune prevention of these situations.
