ABSTRACT

The treatment of psychosis in older people is based on two groups of drugs: antipsychotic and neuroleptics.It is important to know both the characteristics of the drug as well as comorbidity, polypharmacy, social environment of the patient to an appropiate choice of the drug to avoid side effects and interactions.
