ABSTRACT

This paper seeks to address in a comprehensive way what the advantages and disadvantages of the Milan systemic model developed by Mara Selvini Palazzoli, L. Boscolo, G. Cecchini, G. Prata, from the personal perspective.
Emphasis will be placed on any point in the spotlight that was for them, and led them to investigate, inquire into the nature of the family identified as a schizophrenic patient, which becomes important from the point of view that object to study is the family and not suffering, or use of certain techniques, thus introducing a systemic analysis of family interactions.
Finally, as an example of what a systemic family therapist would see in a schizophrenic family interaction, will the inclusion of analysis of the film “Festen: The Celebration” by Thomas Vinterberg, Mogens Rukov and Bo Hr. Hansen.
