ABSTRACT
The cardiovascular illnesses produce alterations in the sexual life of the individuals that suffer them. The patients have a series of queries and when they are not solved with efficiency by the multidisciplinary health team they produce emotional uncertainty and, even more, diverse sexual dysfunctions related to the cardiopathies that have been described. The appropriate orientation and the knowledge of the changes and adaptations to the new sexual life after having suffered a cardiovascular event favor the renewal of the sexual activity with full security and trust.
