ABSTRACT

Ascariasis is the most prevalent human helminthiasis in the world, the highest rate is in children of preschool or early school ge, its transmision is primarily handto-mouth.It needs a pulmonary cycle to mature into adult worms. Most individuals have low to moderate worm burders and are asintomatic. The clinical presentation is due to pulmonary disease and obstruction of intestinal tract.
