ABSTRACT

Lipoblastoma is a benign neoplasm derived from the embryonic adipose tissue. Clinical presentation depends on its size and location. Histopathology, and cytogenetics are considered the best diagnostic method. We report the case of a seven month old child with an abdominal tumor. It was diagnosed as an abdominal lipoblastoma. A complete successful resection was performed without complications. Currently the patient is in good health.
