ABSTRACT

Enter September and December of 2008, the accomplished to grandfathers’ houses of Lotería a descriptive cross-section study with 36 Adult Elders, to concert Cotorro municipality . For the sake of verifying if they produced to this institution changes in the perception of the adult posterior principal's familiar functioning to his incorporation. Applied them a half way interview structured to characterize to the group from the point of view psychological member, the perceptual Test of the Function Family FFSIL with the aim of examining the perception that the adult elders of his familiar functioning after being inserted at grandfathers house and the perceptual Test of the Old Man's family relations have to correlate the aftermath obtained among the techniques applied and to verify the changes in the perception,. It was concluded that these adult elders characterize themselves to be a very group integrated to this institution, they do not present sentiments of sadness, neither of loss of authority, neither of social roles, they do not feel isolated, the need to be listened to they satisfy her in the diverse activities that realize of united manner in the same one. The fact that they produced to this institution in an increase in favor of the familiar functionality changes in the perception of familiar functioning of these adult elders starting from his incorporation verified itself. It was perceived that grandfather business contributes to these changes insofar as carry more time of inserted in her and they receive the influence of this institution's functions.
