ABSTRACT

Primary hyperhidrosis is an sweat excess with out apparent cause, that affect many people, who did not know that this is a sickness and for this reason this people do not search specialized help. Some of these patients are treated by nervousness, because sweat excess is interpreted like an anxiety consequence. Identify some of the psychological characteristics on these people, is the investigative objective in our center and bibliographic review is essential to achieve our goal. Advised authors agree that sweat excess affect interpersonal relationships and the emotional state of patients that suffer this illness. Is set up in this article that sweat’s social representation is one of the causes that have great weight in the maintain stress that this people suffer, and that the appearance of this illness in the youth affect personality’s development.
