We are pleased to present you with the first number of volume 33 of the Journal, corresponding to the period from January to June 2012. It has been a challenge to maintain a high quality Journal that is relevant and interesting to the readers while also ensuring its timely publication. Because of this, the Advisory Council to the Editorial Committee has proposed the adoption of several strategies that will be implemented in the next few months.
