ABSTRACT

The CLAHT Group was officially founded in 1976 by a group of experts in the area of hemostasis and thrombosis, this group was established within the academic activities of the ISH (International Society of Hematology). Currently the Claht is integrated by 16 countries and approximately 400 members. The CLAHT done congress every two years in various countries of the region by promoting knowledge in bleeding and thrombotic disorders also established various committees in several areas, among them, hemophilia, von Willebrand disease, thrombophilia, anticoagulant , etc. The CLAHT has a long history, however, sees a promising future with the introduction of new generations that will surely continue with the professional legacy.
