ABSTRACT

Pleomorphic adenoma is the most frequent minor salivary gland tumor. It is an intraoral mass, mainly dependent on the palate or lip. Commonly, it is asymptomatic, and diagnosis is made using TC/RM, fine needle aspiration biopsy or excisional biopsy. Treatment is surgery resection if it is possible, with wide margins. The case of a patient with a palate mass, with pleomorphic adenoma diagnosis, is reported.
