ABSTRACT

The use of nasoenteral feeding tubes in critical ill patients is a frequent procedure not the less it is not exempt from complications such as bronchial installation. The mortality reported is low, but it compromises the patient’s progress. We report a case and the initial multidisciplinary treatment of a punctured lung secondary to failed enteral intubation.
