ABSTRACT

According to the program established by the Cuban Ministry of Public Health, called "Healthy Kidney", it is very important to diagnose chronic renal disease early for effective nephroprevention in patients with risk factors for developing it, belonging to the health area of the Municipal Polyclinic of Santiago de Cuba, in order to provide them a comprehensive care as a preventive measure, given the high cost of clinical and surgical replacement therapy in renal function, with the purpose of preventing this complication and ensuring them a better quality of life and social integration.
