ABSTRACT

The human qualities, professional attitude and revolutionary condition of a stomatologist from Santiago are highlighted: Dr. Raúl Leonel Castillo Rosix, who began his teaching career in 1964 as an assistant student in the Dentistry School from Havana University, where he graduated as a Doctor in Stomatology in 1965. During all his working life he has contributed with his example to the training of health professionals for Cuba and the world. This biographical sketch constitutes a deserved homage to his teaching-assisting work during so many years and to the good performance in dissimilar administrative functions.
