ABSTRACT

The penitentiary study of the delinquent is approached from multiple disciplines, generally, are five main areas by which it passes the delinquent to be analyzed; or at least, interviewed person, to be deciphering the factors that took part in their conduct, in specific the crime that has committed. Firstly the legal area is the one that it indicates what crime has committed, follows the psychological one, the medical one, the social work and the criminological one, other areas could be the pedagogical one, psychiatric and the sociological one. When going beyond typical “ what crime committed ” to “ why it committed ”, a greater work takes part than it takes to certain time deciphering the individual causes by which a person has committed a crime and later she committed why it and especially the type. For this study it is important to consider a variety of characteristics in the personality that throw interesting results, the Clinical Criminology contributes essential data in the course of this identification of causes.
