It’s hoped to interest those physicians concemed about children’s care: The first one deals about the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) its clinical, epidemiological and laboratory criteria; the classification as probably and suspicious case, the contact case and gives special information about Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome in children. The second article is focused upon the pediatrician’s position in presence of an adolescent decided to commit abortion, parsing the reasons of the young girls to get pregnant naming the personal, familiar, and social ones: quoting the author says: “Avoiding pregnancy in adolescents should be considered as a priority in the educational and sanitary campaigns because the great number of teenagers with the problem and probable complications is enormous”. Our third article talks about the Neonatal Sieve (NS), which is a program of public health within the world priority preventive strategies about which the physician should be informed, treating about history, time and way to accomplish as well as the progress reached with the widened neonatal sieve. Another problem is related upon one of the causes of intractable diarrhea during childhood and as an example the “tuft enteropathy in two brothers” is presented. Finally, another article describing the “Buccal Complications of Corporal” (or Body) Art reminds us how far the adolescents arrive and what and why they feel motivated to do so.
