ABSTRACT
This research constitutes a theoretical effort which makes a parallel between the theory about Bio-power exposed by Foucault and Agamben, with theoretical advances of Humberto Maturana, Antonio Damasio, among others. Also, it seeks to describe aspects biopsychosocial associated with social discrimination through the analysis of the contemporary views on the individual, the society and the culture, for which an epistemological circularity has been established which makes it possible to examine the phenomenon as a result of the interaction between living systems in the net of relations that raise the social exclusion linked to the Bio-power arises.
