ABSTRACT

We performed a cross sectional study. The population consisted of 480 families, which are distributed in the 25 colonies of Ocotlán Municipality. We applied “The Events Inventory and Family Assessment”. Graters regulatory events occurrence were: marriage, pregnancy, childbirth, entry of a child to school, teenager child, adult child leaving home, retirement, death expected of couple with chronic illness, change of home, diagnosis of serious illness or death treat, prolonged hospitalization, accident, shameful acts, pregnancy in adolescence, unplanned pregnancy, unexpected death. The entire family feels very important the event occurred. The implications of developments in the families where assessed as positive for expected events and negative for unexpected events.
