ABSTRACTIn order to make an update to the Rational Emotive Therapy investigation, a review was done of the past four years of the works published in the Journal of Rational Emotive and Cognitive-Behavior Therapy. It raises the theoretical basis of Rational Emotive Therapy and presents the results of the literature review. In it, we find that the major research topics in the field were perfectionism, mindfulness use, procrastination, rumination and stress confront. It also presents and discusses current research in the field of psychotherapy.
