VACTER association, VACTER-H syndrome, congenital malformations.

ABSTRACT

In 15 cases of VACTER association, the most frequent anomalies were renal and vertebral (86.6%), anomalies of the limbs (80%) and anal anomalies (73.3%). There were 7 with uncommon anomalies including three cases with hydrocephaly, one with the Prune Belly syndrome and one with female pseudohermaphroditism; the other two cases were associated with a teratoma and a renal teratoid dysplasia. These findings enlarge the spectrum of malformations in the VACTER association.
