ABSTRACT

According to the OMS, health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not only the absence of affections or illnesses and Quality of life is: "the perception that an individual has of his place in the existence, in the context of the culture and of the system of values in those that he lives and in connection with his objectives, his expectations, his norms, his restlessness. With the increase of the expectation of life in the population and especially in the woman, she can live many years after the climacteric process, for what worries about maintaining their physical integrity to achieve the realization of the multiple functions that it carries out in all the spheres of the life, with the necessary quality. We carry out a revision of the literature on the topic, intending to approach the influence of the social determinant of the health in the perception of health and the quality of the women's of medium age life.
