ABSTRACT

A descriptive, retrospective and cross-sectional study was carried out in 20 medical students from the second year in “Josué País García" University Polyclinic of Santiago de Cuba during 2011-2012, to determ ine the level of sa tisfaction perceive d in them through a survey (evaluation tool) to evaluate the impact of the educational process on the subject Morphophysiology VI. The results were positive in relation to the performance of the teaching practices and differ ential attention to students wi th academic difficulties, but the impact was negative on the indicators: a ttendance at educational activities, marks 4 and 5 in all subjects, participation in scienti fic activities, extracre dit exams and skills competitions. It was found that the application of evaluation tools after each teaching period is useful to control and compare prog ress of the educational process and identify existing strengths and weaknesses in this process, so as to act accordingly.
