ABSTRACT

The Hemophagocytic Syndrome, also referred as Haemophagocityc Lymphohistiocytosis is a clinicopathologic entity characterized by the activation of histocytes with hemophagocytosis in bone marrow and reticuloendothelial system, triggered by default in the T lymphocyte by stimulating the production of INF-γ and multiple interleukins involved that promote macrophage activation, this disease curse with fever, cytopenias, hepatosplenomegaly and hemophagocytosis, know the pathophysiology, identify the condition in a timely manner and early treatment are key factors in patient survival.
