ABSTRACT

The late presentation of a congenital diaphragmatic hernia represents an important diagnostic challenge. The presentation varies considerably and may lead to a wrong diagnosis with the risk of serious morbity and mortality. We report a series of cases with this rare congenital anomaly; we reviewed the various patterns of delayed presentation and discuss our experience in the diagnosis and treatment of these patients.
