ABSTRACT

Septic arthritis remains a major challenge to physicians because the increasing frequency of certain microorganisms to become in antibiotic-resistant and difficulties with diagnostics and treatment. Prompt diagnosis and treatment of infectious arthritis can help prevent significant morbidity and mortality.
