Embarazo en adolescentes complicaciones

ABSTRACT

In the past years there has been an increase in premature and juvenile sexual activity, producing a higher amount of adolescent pregnancy, which is currently considered a severe sociomedical problem. Its prevalence varies at national and worldwide levels. Within the described risk factors, the most relevant are the individual ones, which are related to adverse gyneco-obstetrical and psychosocial results. Within the former we find fetal growth retardations, anemia, urinary tract infections, premature birth, and birth complications.
