ABSTRACT

The use of budesonide/formoterol as maintenance and relief therapy in one inhaler constitutes a recent and novel concept for attaining asthma control in patients uncontrolled with the use of the combination of inhaled steroids plus long-acting β2 agonists as maintenance and the use of short-acting β2 agonists as relief therapy.
