ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT: Two patients with tuberculosis of the breast, seen in a 15 year period, are presented. Patients were 39 and 45 years old, and both presented with a tumor of approximately 6 x 5 cm, located in the left breast, one of them with fistula. Excisional biopsy showed chronic granulomatous lesion compatible with tuberculosis and with positive coloration to Zielh-Neelsen. In both patients the treatment with rifampin, pyrazinamide and isoniacide caused disappearance of the tumor and an important clinical improvement.
