ABSTRACT
The development of the computer science during the last 30 years has had a very important infl uence in human life, changing paradigms on all daily activities like public policies, commerce, education and science development. The aim of this editorial is to communicate some considerations about the way the development of technology in information and communication had infl uenced on the spread of scientifi c knowledge in its using on medical publications.
